The Violet Hour, Elegant Beach Condo, Great Views

The Violet Hour is defined as that magical moment between afternoon and evening when the wholeworld stops and everything feels possible. It Is the best possible time at the beach! Imaginespending every hour of your vacation in a place that feels this magical! The Violet Hour condo is aperfectly dreamy fantasy vacation setting from the ocean view balcony to the exquisite décor andwhimsical paint colors.The living room is large enough for a family gathering with lots of comfortable seating and a flat panel TV. There is lots of natural light and an arched opening into the dining room which hosts atable big enough for a feast or a fun round of dominoes or cards. The magnificent kitchen isequipped to cook delicious meals or midnight snacks. The well stocked kitchen is equipped with smooth top electric stove, oven microwave, garbage disposal, dishwasher, side by side refrigerator with large freezer, dishware, utensils, cookware, crock pot, a Keurig, and also a drip coffee maker, and island bar with seating for 2, breakfast tabel with seating for 4 and a separate dining room with seating for 10. There are dishes, glassware,silverware, pots, and pans provided.The primary bedroom has a fireplace and a gold-leaf Phyllis Morris canopy Cali king bed. To add to thisluxurious ambiance the bed faces two windows with beachfront views. There are chest of drawersand a huge closet for storing your vacation wardrobe. There is also a beautiful twin bed with mattress underneath. You can also relax in your bed watching yourfavorite shows on the flat panel tv or sleeping late with the black out curtains drawn. The ensuitebathroom adds to the opulent surroundings with a giant lighted mirror and long counter for a royalmakeover or just a freshen up. The tub is jetted for a soothing bath and the shower is large and tiled.There is a walk-in closet and a stacked washer dryer for your convenience.The three other bedrooms are as sumptuous as the first. Not as big but every bit as comfortable.Bedroom 2 has a Cali king. This bedroom has a private balcony and a largeflat screen tv. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed, TV, closets, and a beautiful ocean view and leads into ajack and jill bathroom. Bedroom four has a king bed, a TV, and also connects tothe jack and jill bathroom. All of the bedrooms are provided with luxury bedding and pillows. Thebathrooms have plenty of plush towels, body soaps, shampoo, and conditioner for yourconvenience.The Violet Hour is located in The Dawn Condominiums voted #1 condos in Galveston with a Bahamian village full of brightlycolored seaside huts among swaying palms and red tile walkways. To arrive at your condo you travel up 2 flights of stairs toothe third floor and can’t help but notice the beautifully manicured grounds, two pools open year-round (one is heated) plus a large hot tub, and several places to grill with ample outdoor seating andtables. The convention center is only 10 blocks from here along with Walmart, lots of the restaurantson Seawall Blvd, and Babe’s Beach right in front and all easily walkable! For other fun venues and events the Trolleystops directly in front of the complex. The cost for a ride on the Trolley is only $1.00 and kids ridefree.For those who prefer to skip the cooking and enjoy the local cuisine, Galveston Island presents amyriad of choices. The seawall has a gorgeous view and a long list of eating establishments fromgourmet burgers to fine dining and world-renowned family restaurants. To name a few of ourfavorites… The Spot, Mario’s Seawall Italian and Pizzeria, Gaido’s, The Steakhouse (in The SanLuis), Rudy and Paco’s, Willy G.’s, Katie’s Seafood House, and many more! You won’t regret spending time in a place where the magical Violet Hour never ends.

NOTES

This condo is on the 3rd floor and there are no elevators. However "The View at the Top is Always Worth the Climb!" Be prepared to take 2 flights of stairs to the front door.All reservations at The Dawn Condominiums require a parking fee per vehicle. The fee is $40 for the first 3 nights or $50 for 4 or more per car for parking upon arrival at The Dawn.When registering at The Dawn guests will receive their pool/gym bands (up to 6 for a one-bedroom and up to 8 for a two-bedroom) and access codes for parking gates, walk-through gates and for the fitness center. Pool/gym bands should be returned to The Dawn prior to departure.

Guests with limited mobility should consider parking and stairs to access unit, as The Dawn does not have elevators.

Outside/exterior video security surveillance is present at this complex for the security of the home and our guests.
